Happy 2016 loves!
While 2015, was the hardest year of my life, I'm glad that we made it through! I'm looking forward to new adventures and especially baby girl coming in February.
However, I wanted to take a minute to look back on this hard year and point out the positives. As they say, "It was the worst of times and the best of times."
January brought us lots of museum days, some of the coldest NYC weather and lots of snow.
February brought us a fun Valentine's Day, sledding in the park and playing indoors at Gymboree.
March gave us Saint Patrick's Day, along with a parade in NYC and the start of warmer days.
In April, Henry turned ONE!!! Even Grandma Soules came out to celebrate!
The official start of constant park days and Henry exclaiming that we have to leave NOW!
Grandpa and Grandma Soules come out to DC with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on Grandpa's last tour with them.
After living in hotels, a friend's house, we finally have our own apartment again! We also learned that Henry is going to be a big brother!
August was filled with exploring our new area and hot chocolate dates in our pjs with mama.
The month we found out, IT'S A GIRL!
Second Halloween as a happy minion and lots of nice fall days.
Our new tradition of having a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving with the works. Popcorn, jelly beans, toast, pretzels . . .
Excited on Christmas morning! We learned the true meaning of friendship as we received gifts from Secret Santas and so many gave to Henry to where we'll be able to afford his leg braces.
Yes, yes we were still blessed despite the hardest move, losing thousands of dollars, months sleeping on the floor, but most importantly-- we learned from our trials and grew stronger, as a family. :)
Here's to 2016 being EVEN BETTER!
