FAMILY FIRST BIRTHDAY

My little blur so excited to see everyone!

Henry's first birthday part one. (I know, my happy baby is spoiled).

It was really sweet of my Aunt Rebecca to host all of the Medina family over at her house to celebrate Easter and Henry's birthday.

We started out with a little egg hunt.

Grandma flew all the way from Salt Lake City to be with Henry!

Then we ate an Easter feast of lamb and so much more. I thought I took a picture of this, but somehow skipped it? It was really good. After, our little birthday boy became tired and took a nap on the front porch while we talked about my granddad. He and Henry share birthdays and I'm awfully sorry that he never met Henry while on this earth.

I believe though that my granddad is Henry's guardian angel and helped Henry to come here to earth on his special day. He was there to make sure this baby boy came healthy and strong. On the day we were celebrating Easter and Henry's birthday, we celebrated my granddad too. He worked so hard to take care of his girls and bring them to America.

Once Henry woke up (we actually tickled him after awhile), it was time for birthday cake! What birthday wouldn't be complete without cake?

After a quick scrub down, he opened a few presents given sweetly by his Lolas (my aunts) and Uncles (my cousins).

Henry says, "Thank you Lola for hosting such a wonderful party!!!"

Happy birthday Henry! Your entire family near and far loves you dearly.
