SNOW DAY

While it may have not have been the blizzard that the city was anticipating, we still called it a snow day and took Henry out to see what snow looks like in New York City. Where's the greatest place to be caught up in all the snow action? Central Park, of course.

With its hills and playgrounds, as well as being the largest park in Manhattan, there's no question on whether it's worth the short subway ride or not. It most definitely is worth it!

However, once we made it to the park to be in the middle of everything, this happened. :)

Poor baby, he was exhausted.

But it wasn't going to stop anyone from enjoying the moment. We then headed into Starbucks for a cozy hot chocolate and let Henry sleep a little. Knowing just the right moment to wake up, he gave us the following curious faces.

Then it was back out into the cold and snow for some fun! We ended changing him into his snowsuit to get the full experience.

To give you an idea how cold it is, here's what this lake looked like in the fall.

Henry eventually started to get all tuckered out which meant it was time to go home on the subway again. It was a great first snow day! (with hopefully more to come, next year) :)
